Desktop backgrounds or as part of a Desktop or Mail Client theme

Using as textures to make game mods such as for The Sims, Second Life, Half Life etc

... and anything else you can think of (except to post as seamless tiling texture downloads on your website!)

To preview the textures choose a category by clicking on one of the menu options above (the image buttons), there are several basic theme categories as well as an 'All' category represented by the Strawberry for the casual visitor who just wants a look around!

How do I download & unzip the textures?

To see the full pattern and how it tiles you can click on the zoom button. If you decide you like the texture and want to download it, click on the preview thumbnail to download the zipped texture to your computer.

I'm looking for a texture which is no longer on the site?

In March 2007 and again in February 2008 I've taken down large batches of older, lower quality textures off the site. I still have most of the removed items on my computer so if you really are desperate for a particular old texture which is no longer hosted here then contact me with a description or item number.

Can I spam you with my proposal to buy advertising space on your website?

For some reason a spate of companies keep contacting me via The Fat Strawberry asking me if I would like to sell ad space on the site. I suspect said companies are in fact wanting to buy ad space on Parsimonious given it has 15-20 thousand visitors a day compared to the few hundred daily visitors that come here, if that's you then please contact me via Parsimonious or your proposal will be ignored.

If you are in fact dumber than a box of rocks and can't work out how to do that then I don't want to do business with you.
